Why is your role so important at Similarweb?

Our QA Engineers play a key role in maintaining top-notch product quality and enhancing user experience at Similarweb.🚀 As part of a big data company, you’ll join a cross-platform team that lays the groundwork for other teams, making your work highly impactful. This role blends manual and automation testing, ensuring robust, scalable solutions while working closely with developers as an integral part of the squad. ✨

So, what will you be doing all day? 🌟

• Execute manual and automated tests to verify software functionality, performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications.
• Identify, document, and prioritize software defects, and work closely with development and support teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality and stability of software releases.
• Conduct regression testing to validate software changes and updates.
• Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during testing.

This is a great opportunity job for someone who: 🎯

• Has at least 3 years of proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
• Is professional in designing and executing test cases for web-based applications.
• Has strong knowledge & understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Knows HTML/CSS.
• Is familiarity with agile development practices and tools.
• Good understanding of how Web Browsers work and using Dev tools.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Playwright or Codecept
