QA Engineer

Shape 404 is a digital product company. We are part of MYTY group and alongside we have our sister company Agency 404 which is a communications agency.

As QA engineer you will be working on testing of our web and mobile applications while also being involved in all development phases, from specifications to final product. Besides that, you will have the opportunity to participate in client meetings with the aim to define quality standards for each project in specific, and to coordinate on a daily basis with the project team in order to align quality assurance with the rest of the development process.

When you join us, your main focus will be:

• Manual testing web and native mobile applications
• Writing bugs reports in Jira to project managers, designers, and developers
• Defining and creating test scenarios, proactively before testing activities start
• Participating in learning and writing automated test cases, in Appium
• Regular regression testing of launched products, for maintenance monitoring
• Receiving bug tickets from either clients and colleagues, reproducing behavior and internally coordinating for resolution
• Realigning QA timeline and adjusting your own testing schedule when delays in development
• Participating in project kickoffs and syncs to constantly be informed of project status’s
• Planning and scheduling test phases, keeping everyone aware of the current QA status
• Ensuring quality standards are met or exceeded for all projects
• Adhering to project schedules and proactively report progress to meet challenging deadlines

You belong with us if you have:

• 1+ years of testing or or general software industry experience
• Understanding of web browsers, different mobile devices, versions, and functionality
• Good ability to apply time management and organizational skills when plans don't go as planned
• Love for investigation, details, and defect-finding
• Independent and self starting way of working
• Clear and honest communication skills
