What a QA Campaign Data Analyst does at Visa:

As the QA Campaign Data Analyst you will support a range of marketing campaigns by ensuring accuracy, completeness and reliability of data and insights. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and other Data Analysts to support the delivery of key lifecycle management campaigns for one of our key issuing clients.

In this role you will also:

  • Ensure quality assurance processes and standards are met for campaign analysis within our client’s environment
  • Collaborate with campaign analysts, data engineers and IT teams to establish data validation procedures and quality checks throughout the campaign lifecycle
  • Conduct comprehensive audits of campaign data sources, including but not limited to tracking tags, conversion events, audience segmentation and performance metrics
  • Review campaign performance reports, dashboards and presentations to identify discrepancies, anomalies and areas for improvement
  • Perform regression testing and validation of data pipelines, ETL processes and reporting tools to ensure data integrity and consistency
  • Document processes, key learnings, quality assurance findings and best practices in artefacts that can be reused across the client’s busines
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, resolves discrepancies and implement corrective actions to optimise campaign performance
  • Provide training and support to campaign analysts on quality assurance processes, tools and methodologies

  • Building Strategic Work Relationships: Developing and using collaborative relationships to achieve work goals. Uses good interpersonal relationships by helping people feel valued, appreciated, and included in discussions (enhances self-esteem, empathizes, involves, discloses, supports).
  • 7+ years related work experience in Data Analytics, Consulting or Marketing Analytics
  • Proficiency in SQL is required
  • Experience in data visualisation is required, PowerBI is highly preferred
  • Experience in other query language (e.g., SAS or Python) highly regarded
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to effectively communicate a story through data (visualisations, story-telling)
  • Good communication skills
  • Adept at data crunching, and passionate about unearthing significant patterns and meaningful insights
  • Proactive self-starter, always on learner, team player and able to work in a virtual environment
  • An eye for accuracy, the ability to self-manage multiple data sets and data requests, and flexibility to respond quickly
  • Autonomy in managing stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the Unica marketing automation platform tool is preferred.

Projects you will be a part of:

This role will play a critical role in helping to build Visa Managed Services arm in market, a scaling space that is in high demand from our clients. This role will support the establishment of best practice to embed marketing and customer insights delivery as long-term role for Visa Australia and New Zealand for our clients.
