The role is restricted to candidates physically located in Europe. We cannot consider candidates who are not based in this region. Preference will be given to candidates based in Portugal, Spain, or Malta.
The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic fast-learning and dynamic Quality Automation Engineer to help us build our quality assurance process in the software development lifecycle of our products. The ideal candidate has experience in working with developers, product managers and devops to ensure that the release of new features and the launch of new products satisfy our quality standards and expected functional behaviors.
You’ll be the quality advocate within your team, promoting the adoption of a quality mindset and test pyramid principles, and while supporting product releases with manual user acceptance, regression and exploratory testing, you’ll also contribute to establishing and increasing automated test coverage for frontend, mobile and API.
*As a QA Automation Engineer, you are expected to …
- Design, develop and execute test automation scripts.
- Conduct automated user acceptance, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs efficiently, while collaborating with engineering teams for resolution.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and structured test plans and cases tailored for automation.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., developers, product managers) to understand and document system requirements for automated testing.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Pave the road to an automated test process in the development lifecycle.
- Track quality assurance metrics.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
