Job requirements
- Role: QA Engineer
- Years of Experience: 8+ years
- Location: remote
- Actively partner in design, planning and executing work on project and cross-platform efforts
- Work closely with development, operations, support, business partners and other stake holders to ensure timely collaboration and resolution
- Planning and prioritizing testing activities
- Identify gaps and problem areas in the software application
- Recommending automated software test procedures
- Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes
- Preparing automation scripts
- Troubleshooting automation software issues
- Creating test plans and test summary reports
- Preparing detailed test reports
- Prioritizing and executing tests
- Executing regression and exploratory testing as necessary
- Automation suite optimization
- Review of Pull requests
- Grooming the user stories with team members
- Work independently under minimal guidance providing coaching and mentoring for junior’s team members
- Source code management
- Creation of knowledge bank on wiki/confluence
- Selenium with Java, Cucumber framework, automation frameworks to integrate backend with RESTful API's, Flyway, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins, Maven.
