We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team and help drive automated testing efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts, ensuring high-quality software releases. This role will involve working closely with the development and product teams to build a robust testing framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Create and execute automation test plans and test cases for new features, bug fixes, and enhancements.
- Integrate automated tests with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Analyze test results and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the manual testing team to identify areas for automation and improve testing coverage.
- Continuously optimize testing frameworks and processes for better performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in test automation using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or another scripting language.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Solid understanding of automated testing methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
