QA Associate Director

We are looking for an experienced QA Manager to join our QA Business Unit’s Management Team.

You’ll be reporting to Head of QA and you’ll be responsible in supporting him and the QA Leaders in various aspects, including recruiting new talent, provide mentorship to department Leaders, managing resources, developing and implementing new ideas that would make the Business Unit grow and constantly transform itself.

You’ll be working with various Stakeholders: QA Team Members, QA Managers, Game Managers, Operations Managers, etc… to take the best decisions for providing a top-notch QA Service.

In most of the time you’ll need to have an Entrepreneurial mindset able to identify problems and/or opportunities by yourself, developing plans to address them, getting the buy in from Stakeholders and decisional factors, ultimately behaving as an internal Business Leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing QA strategies, goals, and policies.
  • Support the Head of QA in driving the vision and direction of the QA department.
  • Oversee daily activities of QA Managers and Department’s Leads
  • Ensure projects adhere to defined quality standards and processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement within QA workflows and implement best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging QA technologies.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to ensure quality goals are met.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on QA performance, challenges, and outcomes.
  • Define and track key QA metrics to measure performance and identify bottlenecks.
  • Analyze data to make informed decisions and guide future QA initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for upper management.
  • Identify potential risks in projects and work to mitigate them proactively.
  • Recommend new tools & support the integration of them.
  • Minimum 5 Years in a Management position, ideally in QA and / or Gaming Industry
  • Good understanding of Production & Delivery pipelines
  • Great expertise in testing methodologies, processes, technologies, best practices, tools
  • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Client orientation, with a focus on understanding
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, growth mindset, solution oriented
  • Familiarity with industry-specific compliance and standards
