Python Developer

About the position:

Are you a Python wizard with a sense of humor? Do you like long walks through dense forests of code and late night debugging sessions? If so, we want you on our World of Warships team in Belgrade! We're currently looking for talented programmers to join our ranks and help us conquer the digital world.

Here at Wargaming Belgrade, we are looking for a Backend Developer to strengthen the World of Warships external stores team. Our team is responsible for publishing operations on Steam, Epic Games Store, MS Store, etc.

In our work, we follow development best practices, set a goal above bureaucracy, while not forgetting about quality and not afraid to experiment.

Our main stack is python (Django, Fastapi), but we also got some legacy tools, so C# experience would be a plus.

What will you do?

• Design, develop and maintain various tools and features for operations on Steam;
• Write documentation, refactor existing code to keep it simple and maintainable;
• Work on the inner source projects and RnD activities;
• Work closely with game and product designers and QA engineers, communicate with other teams and departments.

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years in Python;
• Ability to create web service from scratch;
• Full-stack development experience (or willing to get it);
• Experience with databases (we use PostgreSQL);
• Experience with Selenium or other automation frameworks;
• Familiar with abilities of Steam and other game platforms APIs.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Steam API experience;
• Web scraping experience;
• Experience with C#;
• Data visualization & data analysis;
