Marley Spoon is currently operating in Australia, the US and Europe. We are currently looking for a part-time Purchasing Specialist to help us grow Marley Spoon.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, track, and manage Purchase & Production Orders in Marley Spoon’s ERP, ensuring accurate quantities and timely delivery.
  • Manage daily supplier relations to ensure the timely delivery of the product; resolve shipping issues, manage purchase order changes, and review monthly scorecards to implement necessary corrective action plans (e.g. delivery times or quality improvements)
  • Support Strategic Sourcing in preparing periodical supplier performance reviews and internal meetings
  • Maintain a daily inbound receiving schedule and coordinate with vendors and/or carriers to make sure purchase orders are delivering on desired dates, communicating any issues to the organization.
  • Maintain adequate replenishment inventory to support daily fulfillment while achieving the desired turns and minimum inventory number
  • Review, track, reconcile, and approve invoices in conformity with received product.
  • Responsible for commenting on waste reasons from purchasing actions.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse supervisors to ensure the product is received and available for production.
  • Collaborate with Category Managers to resolve item and vendor issues where stock and service levels are not being met against established inventory plans.
  • Available to be on call on Saturday mornings

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree;
  • Previous experience in a Supply Chain/Purchasing/Operations related role;
  • Several years of experience in a related field;
  • Good analytical skills and intermediate user of Google Sheets/Excel;
  • Previous experience with any kind of ERP software;
  • Process and information flow understanding;
  • Driven to achieve the highest quality in daily work;
  • Strong problem solving & multitasking skills with great attention to detail. Team player and good communication skills with a passion to always learn more and share your knowledge with others;
  • Availability to work on Saturdays.
