Purchasing Operations Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
- Drive compliance and governance of the Procure to Pay process with all Eurofins entities
- Day to day supervision of the purchasing department to ensure policies and procedures are followed
- Develop KPI’s to measure performance across the team.
- Coach, train and develop employees within the group
- Work cross functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure service levels provided to Eurofins Business Units meet expectations. Develop and implement action plans where appropriate to improve satisfaction.
- Operate as an escalation point and customer service expert to meet business expectations.
- Training new associates on Eurofins NSC Purchasing processes
- Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Work cross functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure service levels provided to Eurofins Business Units meet expectations. Develop and implement action plans where appropriate to improve satisfaction.
- Development and implementation of standard department operating procedures
- Training new associates on Eurofins NSC Purchasing processes
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to effectively lead a team
- Positive attitude with one team mindset
- Systems knowledge including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Procurement systems aptitude and experience
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Must be professional, possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be a team player.
- Detail oriented and able to multi-task. Time management skills with the ability to prioritize as necessary
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Supply Chain, Business Administration
- Minimum 6 years professional-level purchasing and management experience
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated track record of motivation and success
- Prior experience in Laboratory setting or Bio/Life Sciences preferred
- Background in Operations or Supply Chain Management is a plus
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours, as needed. Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
