With the addition of new companies to our portfolio, we're searching for an all-companies Purchasing Manager that will coordinate with our existing teams.

What you will do… 

·         Enhance procurement and logistics processes to increase operational efficiency, incorporating proactive measures to ensure supply chain continuity.

·         Assess and select electrical and control equipment suppliers and subcontractors based on quality, cost, availability, and overall service to ensure they meet or exceed customer requirements.

·         Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to foster global partnerships and improve supply chain reliability.

·         Maintain and update a comprehensive supplier database, including commodities, capabilities, geographical reach, and performance metrics.

·         Analyze company-wide procurement trends to refine and optimize pricing strategies across all entities.

·         Negotiate and secure contracts for commodities and bulk purchasing to drive cost savings while meeting or exceeding customer requirements.

·         Collaborate with internal teams (field operations, division leaders, and administrative staff) to enhance procurement processes and ensure on-time product delivery.

·         Strengthen internal communication with stakeholders to reduce purchasing errors and improve workflow efficiency.

·         Define clear goals and accountability within the Purchasing Department to develop talent, improve performance, and achieve long-term success.

·         Ensure prompt and accurate issuance of purchase orders to suppliers to maintain workflow efficiency.

·         Streamline invoice reconciliation by refining processes between buyers and suppliers, improving accuracy, and reducing administrative delays.

What you will need to succeed…

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field or minimum of 5 years of related experience in the electrical or industrial construction industry
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
• Knowledge of electrical components, materials, and industrial supply chains.
• Experience with ERP/MRP purchasing systems.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Nice to have:  Experience with Remarcable Purchasing software

The base salary range for this position is up to $130,000 per year. Please note that the compensation range reflects the base pay only and does not include benefits, or bonuses this role may be eligible to receive. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by bona fide factors such as geographic work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
