Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.
We are looking for a Prototype Paint Technician that has the skills and patience to coat precision parts and meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair on machines and equipment
- Collaborate with our ID team to develop new coatings, colors and finishes for prototype assemblies
- Clean and prepare all parts
- Mask parts and develop masking procedures/processes
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace
- Paint/coat parts to the quality standards of our ID and Engineering teams
- Perform paint repairs
- Maintain inventory of supplies
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a related industry
- Ability to tackle problems in which you may not have expert knowledge
- Ability to understand engineering documentation
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Safety conscious, dependable, and a positive can do attitude
- CAD experience
