THE ROLE

As a Property Lead, you'll take the reins in running our building independently within the market, with responsibilities that span a broad spectrum, including managing vendor relationships, financial performance, and overseeing associate relations. Ultimately, they’ll be entrusted with the overall management and operation of our property, with a keen eye on delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring cleanliness and maintenance. We're seeking individuals who are passionate about excellence, ready to lead a team to embody a friendly, service-oriented approach towards all guests.

AT MINT HOUSE YOU WILL

  • Take ownership of on-site operations, collaborating cross-functionally and within your onsite property teams to develop and implement best practices geared towards optimizing occupancy, net rates, social and listing marketing, and overall experience.
  • Responsible for developing vendor relationships, performing housekeeping quality audits and inventory checks in our units to deliver a seamless experience to our guests and ensure rooms are up to brand standards. 
  • Own all aspects of units and guest spaces and hold themselves accountable through  a combination of customer reviews, employee engagement, hotel performance metrics and contributions to revenue. 
  • Foster and maintain close work relationships with HQ, facilitating effectiveness. communication and collaboration to promote feedback, cross-training, and efficient operations.
  • Hire, oversee, motivate, and train team members on all Mint House’s SOPs and programs; provide on-going communication to the team in order to deliver our guests with a personalized, authentic experience.
  • Prioritize, delegate, execute, and support day-to-day tasking for the onsite team to create a personalized  guest experience and team accountability
  • Promote a guest-centric culture to drive exceptional results and a positive environment
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly pod call meetings to discuss Revenue and Sales forecasting, as well as operational requirements.
  • Conduct sales tours for various customer segments under the guidance of leadership.
  • Responsible for strong financial performance in tandem with leadership. 
  • Lead troubleshoot minor technical issues and maintenance including but not limited to wifi connectivity, TV setup, light bulb replacement, oversee contract appointments.
  • Understand and practice local and state regulations pertaining to short term rentals.
  • Ensure apartments are restocked with various items and support and perform housekeeping duties when needed.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum of 3 years of hotel leadership experience with an emphasis of heart of house operations.
  • Confident to take charge and problem solve when needed; Lead by example and embodies Mint House’s core values in every interaction.
  • Experience recruiting and on-boarding new employees to scale an elite team
  • Concise communication to propose clear and achievable paths forward and comfortable solving problems quickly.
  • Must have an earnest & flexible attitude and be adaptable to policy and procedural changes.
  • Process-oriented skill sets to successfully manage vendor relationships i.e housekeeping, linen/laundry, maintenance, etc.
  • Energy and dedication. Mint House is transforming the traditional hotel model and defining a new category of residential hospitality. The Mint House team believes deeply in this mission and invests the time, energy and effort needed to make it a reality.
  • Tech Savvy to manage all inventory of systems and products like keypads, locks, and key access boxes.
  • Be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.

Compensation Range: $60,000 - $70,000 based on experience.
