The Role

As a Property Development Specialist at Public, you'll spearhead network development projects, managing budgets, overseeing construction, and ensuring compliance. With experience in building services and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, you'll play a pivotal role in our dynamic environment, offering competitive compensation and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops budgets and time plans for network development projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to supervise and oversee the implementation of new store setups and remodeling/renovation of existing stores
  • Supervises all network construction works, emphasizing on the functionality, safety, and condition of facilities and equipment
  • Collaborates with relevant authorities, internal departments, and external stakeholders to provide required documentation, drawings, and certificates for network development projects
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and coordinates with stakeholders to address any compliance-related requirements
  • Collaborates with architects, engineers, and contractors in the planning and execution of network development projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Relevant working experience in dealing with Building Services, ideally in the Retail industry will be considered a plus
  • Experience in quantity surveying (costs & contracts) and all areas of construction from design to completion
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD – ArchiCAD, MS Project & MS Office
  • Excellent use of the English language, both written & oral
  • Critical thinking, with the ability to discern key issues & find solutions
  • Strong negotiation skills & commercial awareness
  • Ability to work under pressure & with tight deadlines
  • Availability & willingness to travel
