Job Purpose

Vivo Energy Guinea is embarking in a Construction Project where an External Contractor is needed for a fixed term period.

The Project Planner & Reporting Coordinator reports to the Project Manager. He is responsible for overseeing the planning & advanced work packaging processes and functions.

He will undertake amongst others :

  • Preparation and update of the project construction schedule based on the approved baseline.
  • Setting work program and target milestones for each phase based on the approved baseline.
  • Tracking of project progress Vs Baseline.
  • Tracking of sub-contractors’ performance (Human resources, Material mobilization, Work organization) 
  • Reporting project progress to the Project Manager and alert in case of deviation on the baseline and support him to develop recovery / acceleration plans
  • Preparing and submitting project weekly report to the Project Manager

Storage LFO

- 2 x Vertical Tanks 1000 m3 each

- 2 x Self-Bunded Tanks 75 m3 each

Storage HFO

-   2 x Vertical Tanks 1000 m3 each

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Performing quantity takeoffs and monitoring/reporting progress.
  • Identifying and mitigating constraints at the work front.
  • Development and quantification of construction performance targets.
  • Reviews of Contractor execution plans & schedules.
  • Audit construction completions processes and participate in driving Inspection & Test Record documentation completion.
  • Set up and maintain reporting and dashboard templates for consistent communication. Collect all required information for project construction leads / coordinators (HSSE; QA/QC, Civil, Mechanical & Piping, Electrical, …) as required to elaborate the periodic global project report. 
  • Develop and maintain graphical summary depictions of execution plan.
  • Complete any other job-related duties as assigned.

  • Project completion in line with the approved budget, agreed milestones and quality requirements.
  • Ensure project is executed without HSSE incidents
  • Smooth project commissioning

Requirements

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Master / Technical degree with strong field work experience.
  • 5 – 10 years of relevant civil, mechanical and pipe installation experience in Oil & Gas or Mining engineering and construction projects.
  • Experience with Advanced Work Packaging processes.
  • Literate in NavisWorks or other 3D modeling and work packaging software.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Fluent in French & English
