Project Manager Water Treatment Operations

We are have some great opportunities with our key customer in Enderlin , North Dakota. If you have the necessary licences and experience we will support your relocation and living expenses! The Project Manager preferably licensed, under the supervision of the Director of Operations, is accountable for operating various types of pumping and process equipment and systems used to treat industrial wastewater. The amount of supervision required depends on the complexity of the site and experience level of the wastewater treatment.

Requirements

  • Possesses at least a Grade 1 Physical/Chemical Wastewater Treatment Operator’s license from the designated state within 2 years of employment date.
  • Ability to coordinate with Management and Engineering regularly and to execute procedures and directions as required.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow safety procedures.
  • Ability to identify and report problems and abnormalities in the receiving waste stream and the treatment process.
  • Ability to perform laboratory analyses in accordance with site specific standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ability to evaluate and operate equipment, meters and gauges
  • Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance to pumps, pipelines, valves, and simple process equipment.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and email programs.
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic and algebra commonly used in wastewater treatment industry.
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hour shifts and be able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
  • Must provide their own transportation to and from the work-site.
  • Must be flexible to work 8-12-hour shifts, including daytime and graveyard shift rotation.
  • Requires at least 3 years working experience in plant operations required.
