Tyler Maine is looking for a junior Project Manager to join our team. The Tyler Maine Project Manager is responsible for developing, planning, and managing activities for website and web application projects for Maine State Government. Projects will be a mix of small and large scope projects. The role’s primary responsibilities will be ensuring day-to-day project operations and strengthening the relationship between Tyler Maine and our government partners.
We are seeking a talented and driven customer centric professional with a proactive, positive “get it done” attitude that can develop a diverse mix of skills in communication, account management, program and project management, portfolio management, process improvement, customer service and the ability to partner with all aspects of our business, from Executive Management to Individual Contributors. You will work in a client-facing role and will be responsible for consulting with sponsors, stakeholders, and customers to create and review proposals, business requirements, project goals, time frames, and resources. You will also provide ongoing support and guidance to our government partners post-implementation throughout the project’s lifecycle.
You must be an excellent team player with unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character and have a desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a small, focused team. The Project Manager works with the entire Tyler Maine team and reports to the Director of Operations.
Responsibilities:

Communicate strategically with potential partners to identify requirements and propose how our solutions will meet their business needs.

Perform system analysis, define project scope, establish and document system requirements, and guide user testing.

Conduct change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes and document business rules, functions, and requirements of such changes.

Create project proposals based on project information collected from client.

Establish project milestones based on the design and scope of work.

Write technical requirements that clearly describe project scope and objectives.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as necessary to keep projects on track.

Lead project meetings, prepare reports, maintain schedules and cost plans, manage and control for risks, and all other aspects of the project from inception through delivery.

Develop an understanding of industry standard infrastructure to effectively communicate with Creative Designers, System Administrators and Developers.

Manage multiple projects and ensure prioritization and resources are appropriate.

Define and develop process enhancements to constantly improve the Project Management Lifecycle.

Coordinate cross-project dependencies with other Tyler Maine project managers and the Director of Operations.

Develop new business opportunities and cultivate existing relationships using superior oral and written communication skills.

Advocate for the partner to ensure their current needs are being met while future needs are identified, documented, and developed according to project plans you create.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and/or Project Management Certification.

1+ years' professional experience, preferably in business, government, project management or public relations.
