Summary of Position: 

The Project Manager for Treehouse Fabrication & Scenic is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Schedule and meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ and vendor’s individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • Monitors production and the quality control process
  • Lead meetings and set expectations for project team
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

Requirements 

  • Leadership Skills: You will have to keep your team motivated, resolve conflicts and make hard decisions for your employees.
  • Time Management: You will be working with employees, customers and management, often spinning multiple plates at once.
  • Math and Budgeting: Project managers are expected to keep and maintain a budget in almost every field. You will need to be confident in using math skills to make sure you know where your company's money is going.
  • Analytical Skills: You will also need analytical skills to be able to solve problems that may come up during a typical work day. You will be analyzing data and making decisions that affect the project on a regular basis.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Work Environment

  • Some areas of the shop and job site may be hazardous so protective gear should be worn when appropriate
  • Shift may vary from day to evenings
  • Weekend hours will be required
  • Standard 40-hour workweek applies, though overtime may be necessary

Location:

  • Job is onsite at our North Hollywood, California fabrication studio.

Salary Estimation:

This is an Exempt role. NVE intends to provide a competitive total compensation package which includes a variety of incentives, benefits, growth and developmental opportunities. The salary range for this role is $85k - $105k. There are many factors to the presented salary range, including but not limited to - location, departmental budgets, certifications, and overall job-related qualifications.
