Project Manager - Tokyo

What you’ll be doing:

As a member of the team, you will be required to:

 

  1. Project Planning and Execution
  • Develop and define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders in both English and Japanese.
  • Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments

 

  1. Team Coordination:
  • Lead and manage project teams, ensuring clear communication and task delegation.
  • Facilitate cross-cultural understanding and communication within the team.
  • Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.

 

  1. Risk and Issue Management:
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues.
  • Develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international standards and regulations.

 

  1. Client and Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Japanese-speaking clients and partners.
  • Translate project documents, meetings, and correspondence as needed.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders.

 

What we are looking for:

We need a dynamic and forward thinking Project Manager with a passion for growth. This role is for someone who can communicate effectively and is committed to project success.

Experience and skills required:

  • Proven experience in project management, ideally in the capital markets domain
  • Experience in a trading or equities environment would be beneficial
  • Proficiency in Japanese and English, both spoken and written
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  • Experience working with international teams and clients
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and work effectively in a team
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
