NeoGenomics is looking for a Project Manager, IT, Agile who wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow. This position is a temporary, remote position.

Position Summary:

An Agile-focused IT Project Manager with extensive experience in leading critical IT initiatives that align with corporate strategy and business goals. Adept at planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering complex projects within Agile frameworks, ensuring effective cross-functional and enterprise-wide stakeholder engagement. Skilled in scoping projects, developing clear and iterative plans with defined milestones, resource allocation, and sprint goals, while leading Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

As a servant leader, the Project Manager facilitates Agile ceremonies, removes impediments, and fosters continuous improvement to drive efficient execution and project completion. Proven ability to leverage strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills, along with Agile leadership and problem-solving expertise, to guide teams in delivering value incrementally and achieving strategic objectives.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a detailed Agile roadmap and sprint plans, tracking progress through burndown charts, velocity metrics, and other Agile tools.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other Agile teams, finance, and business units to ensure that sprint goals, releases, and project milestones are met and documented in alignment with Agile principles.
  • Measure project and team performance using Agile metrics such as cycle time, throughput, and team velocity, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive Agile project documentation, including user stories, sprint backlogs, release plans, and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes

 

Experience, Education and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in project management, with a strong focus on Agile methodologies including Revenue Cycle or Laboratory Reimbursement projects. 
  • Extensive experience in IT project management within Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
  • Scrum Certification strongly preferred
  • Agile Certifications strongly preferred
  • Proven success in working with all levels of management, effectively communicating Agile concepts, progress, and outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate Agile processes and project updates clearly and concisely.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of facilitating Agile ceremonies, sprint reviews, and stakeholder meetings to drive alignment and continuous improvement.
