Project Manager - Global Strategic Projects

This role is part of our Global Holding team based in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Our team is a vibrant mix of talents, ranging from Strategic projects, hospitality and travel experts to recruitment, People & Culture, and marketing enthusiasts. JOB PURPOSE

Are you passionate about strategic planning, making presentations and managing projects simultaneously? Would you like to use your skills at the highest level within a pioneering marketing and technology company? We are looking for a Project Manager to support the Global Strategic Projects team.

The Strategic Projects team supports the Global Executive Team with implementing its global strategy. The team collaborates with key groups (such as the M&A team, global management team and DEPT®’s private equity investor The Carlyle Group) on driving the business forward through various projects, presentations and milestone meetings. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Play a key role in helping the team and the executives of DEPT® to be successful and to get stuff done. 
• Take ownership of multiple recurring workstreams:
• Supporting various milestone meetings;
• Driving your own projects;
• Solving long-term and more immediate challenges with senior and junior stakeholders globally. 
• On a daily basis, you can expect to work on multiple projects at the same time. No day will be the same in an ever changing and fast-paced environment where you will be continuously challenged.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Have experience in a project management or related environment;
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing and cross-functional environment on a global scale;
• Have great communication skills (verbally and written);
• Like making presentations and reports;
• Are flexible, ambitious, results-oriented and know how to plan and organize;
• Have a critical eye for detail and are able to cope with multiple tight deadlines at a time;
• Have a working proficiency in English.
