Take on the responsibility as:
Project Manager – Senior Expert Renewable Energy – 100% (f/m/d) - Italy
Your tasks:
- Develop commercially and then lead project execution in renewable energies (PV, wind onshore, battery storage, hydrogen), with particular emphasis on wind.
- Identify "follow-on" sales opportunities in your projects, supporting proposal efforts, including project scoping and managing client interactions beyond the mere submission of a written offer.
- Lead complex technical assignments: due diligence, technical advisory, performance monitoring reports for different stakeholders such as Lenders, Sponsors or Owners.
- Participate, as an active member with previous experience on design review and supervise design review processes.
- Manage the entire project life cycle, from sales, up to closure capturing and disseminating lessons learned.
Your profile:
- You hold a Mechanical, Electrical or Civil engineer master’s degree and have at least 5-10 years of professional experience within renewable energy context (in particular wind) with an EPC Contractor, Developer, Utility, IPP or Consulting Company in a technical role or project execution.
- You thrive on problems and situations for which there is no prior experience and can create valuable solutions effectively and efficiently. You are good at structuring unclear situations and client problems into actionable tasks and projects.
- You make decisions, act proactively and on your initiative. No mentoring or coaching is required on your daily tasks.
- You are a good communicator and can reduce complex issues to understandable arguments and presentations for the top management from different cultural backgrounds and employees. We pay attention to structured and articulate writing and presentation skills; therefore, you are fluent orally and in writing business English as well as Italian. Additional languages such as French, Spanish, Portuguese, or German are a plus.
- You like a work environment where constructive conflict is sought openly and professionally to create better client solutions in a non-hierarchical way.
- You are used to work under pressure, with tight deadlines, and have no objections to travel, as it forms an essential part of your duties.
