The Opportunity 

We are in search of an experienced Project Manager to successfully deliver Technology & Transformation projects across our Racing, Wagering, Technology and Corporate Services portfolios:

This role is a 12-month Maximum Term Contract based out of our Osborne Park office.

A day in the life of this role could see you:

  • Produce project documentation as required, including but not limited to: Business Case, Project Charter, Training documents, User guides and Change requests, Closure reports and change plans in adherence to RWWA project management methodology. 
  • Prepare timely and accurate project status reports and attend relevant update meetings. 
  • Promote and ensure clear paths of communication between business stakeholders and project implementation teams. 
  • Assume full ownership and stewardship over assigned projects to ensure success. 

About You 

  • Experience in project management or else significant experience working on RWWA applications in business analyst, testing or developing capacity coupled with relevant project management education and certification. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate equally well with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Experience managing teams with UX analysis and design.
  • Experience with web-based applications and mobile technology is desirable. 
  • Above average facilitation skills, organised approach to work and record management. 
  • Project management qualifications highly desirable (PMBOK, PRINCE2, APM, DSDM, Scrum). 
  • Aligned to the behaviours that RWWA values and requires in order to deliver on the strategy.  : 
  • Self-organisation as well as collaborative management 
  • Conceptual, analytical and technical problem solving skills 
  • Communication, negotiating and interpersonal skills 
  • Well-developed presentation skills 
  • Facilitate prioritisation and workflow management of delivery teams 
  • Ability to coach and mentor staff
