As a project manager at D&B, you will be responsible for the successful completion of projects, from needs assessment to solution delivery in a dynamic environment. This PM role will deliver several key projects across Business Operations and other transformational areas of our business. The candidate will have a proven track record of planning and executing delivery across multi-disciplined team in multiple locations and will have a strong focus on risk and issue management, ensuring delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions for the business. Responsibilities
- Creation and execution of project plans, including status reporting which aligns to the Strategic Initiative Reporting process.
- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
- Managing RAID, report risks, escalate issues, as necessary, according to project plan.
- Pro-active identification and management of project dependencies.
- Analyse project status and, when necessary, revise the scope and schedule to ensure that project requirements can be met.
- Ensuring regular program progress and reporting meetings with project staff including facilitation of all project governance meetings – multi discipline and multi region teams.
- To ensure that all impacted teams are informed and aligned.
- Participate in and drive all existing process review meetings and help with the definition of new and streamlined process rollouts.
- Drive creation of training material and associated rollout program.
Requirements
- Experience managing projects with MS Project, or similar PM tool.
- Experience building and managing project budgets to ensure no cost overruns.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence or similar collaboration tools.
- Minimum 5 years Project Management experience in the technology industry.
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to deadlines and corporate processes.
- Proven stakeholder management - excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skillswith the ability resolve issues that may arise to ensure project progress.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with a logical and structured mindset.
- Decision-making ability with proven leadership skills.
- An understanding of software development from conception of initial requirements through to delivery, maintenance and support.
