The Opportunity 

We are seeking a Project Manager, who will be responsible for delivery of all assigned Professional Services projects. This role involves working collaboratively with customers, Professional Services teams and across Poppulo functions, such as Sales, Design, Technical Services, Learning & Enablement and Customer Success.  

 This role requires project management expertise, time management skills, attention to detail, teamwork and desire to deliver excellent customer service, enabling customers to achieve their Poppulo Harmony platform goals. This role has significant impact on the ability to define and execute accurate and quality solutions for customer audiences and can influence customer retention and expansion. The Project Manager will report to the Manager of Customer Projects, and it is not a management position. 

 Responsibilities 

  •  Ensure that assigned professional services projects are delivered to agreed time, cost, quality and customer success objectives. Project Managers will manage multiple projects, of varying complexity, simultaneously. 
  • Ensure that required project metrics and relevant data points are captured accurately – to support departmental and company operational requirements 
  • Provide customer and internal status reports as required – manage internal and external communications for assigned projects 
  • Provide project management support within the Poppulo Professional Services team 
  • Actively reviewing, monitoring and where necessary resolving, major risks being encountered at every phase of project delivery. Escalating risks and issues appropriately when necessary. 
  • Supporting the development of Services sales opportunities, working with Land and Expand Sales teams and/or Customer Success Managers - including project estimation, RFPs, customer/prospect presentations and commercial proposals 
  • Collaborate between Sales and Operations to create quality, thorough and timely statements of work for project implementations. Maintain agreed upon SLA for statement of work creation and submissions. 

 Experience, Education & Qualifications 

  • Ideally the individual will be educated to degree level (IT, computer science or similar) with professional project management accreditation e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 
  • 1-3 years IT, software implementation or service delivery Project management experience with proven ability to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and close projects 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – experience working with array of external client resources from Project Managers, IT resources, and other departments 
     
  • Capable of achieving project delivery results and driving efficiency 
  • Experience in a customer facing professional services delivery role, ideally within a SaaS environment 
  • The ability to lead and carefully manage external and internal relationships and positively motivate internal stakeholders 
  • Commercial awareness with relevant experience within the sales process, including qualifying and coordinating sales requirements 
  • Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project 
  • Great attention to detail and basic understanding of effort estimation techniques 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing priorities 
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
