Operating globally, Pixl8 Group Ltd is seeking a Project Manager to join our team.
As a Project Manager your core accountabilities are as follows:
- Creation and on-going management of project schedules (timelines, resourcing, capacity oversight)
- Manage and control project budgets (invoicing, budget tracking/health, CRs/Contingency control)
- Ownership of project communications (status awareness and comms to stakeholders)
As Project Manager you will be responsible for meeting project margin targets and managing project health. You will support the coordination of multiple projects and work with other members of the team to deliver projects on time and within budget. You will have a strong interest in solving business and digital challenges, as well as use and develop your skills in a supportive, friendly and flexible environment.
You will be familiar with a range of technologies including CMS, CRM, payments, accounting, event booking and communities.
You will have worked in other service provider organisations and it is highly desirable that you have practical experience of technology products, digital transformation, discovery and implementation processes. You will be familiar with a range of technologies including CMS and CRM or event management software.
You will primarily work remotely, with visits to the company base in London expected as agreed with your Line Manager.
The Role
As Project Manager you will work to develop project plans and regularly coordinate with other Project Managers, Consultants and Customer Success Managers to deliver successful projects.
Working closely with some great organisations, you will help to lead them harmoniously through the project lifecycle (from scheduling discovery and gap analysis against Pixl8’s product suite through to project delivery).
This involves supporting the team to ensure projects are delivered on spec, time and budget and meet Pixl8’s high quality standards, all the while keeping the client informed and meeting and exceeding their expectations.
Primarily you will be working within an agile development team on fixed-price projects. You will also support the team and our products by helping to prioritise, schedule and unblock.
You'll work with the team to…
- Coordinate client projects
- Create and maintain project plans (including custom plans)
- Manage priorities and scheduling of team workload
- Coordinate client acceptance testing
- Liaise with clients to ensure all specifications are understood on both sides
- Work with the development team during production, testing and deployment to ensure all requirements have been met
- Support communications with third parties including CRM and associated consultancies
- Ensure proactive communication and resolution of any issues or delays
- Schedule project-related meetings/calls
- Work with various internal teams to ensure all requirements have been met
- Work with our Operations and Finance teams to deliver project financial reporting
- Manage project risks and maintain control of project health and budget
Requirements
- You must have worked for a service provider in a project delivery role
- Ideally you will have worked for a technology provider
- Experience of working on projects with 4 months+ timescales and multiple further iterations (in a digital agency)
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects simultaneously (end-to-end project delivery through the full lifecycle)
- Well-versed in content management systems, CRM,
- Knowledge and interest in websites, digital products & services and software development processes
- Understanding of data migration and business readiness
- Knowledge/interest in membership, payments, accounting, communities and eventsConfident and proactive personality (eg. to work with numerous stakeholders and supervising project teams)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (you will be presenting product demos for example)
- Aptitude for building and maintaining thriving and sustainable relationships (internal & external)Expertise in client account management, partnership building, expectation setting and issue communication
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
- Enthusiasm for the potential application of new technologies
- Confidence to work hands on with the team and convey requirements in a precise manner
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to produce and maintain project documentation
- Working with various internal teams to ensure all requirements have been met
- Proactive attitude towards the resolution of any issues or delays
- Commercial awareness (working with budgets, time logging, invoicing)
- Knowledge of agile working, and JIRA an advantage
- Qualification in PRINCE2 Project Management/Governance
- Working experience with agile principles
- Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and Word - or equivalent Google products)
- Experience of working in a digital agency desirable but not essential
