- As an experienced finance guru, you will directly report to the Founder & Owner of the Group on various companywide and cross departmental projects, monitor those projects from inception to execution from business and strategic perspectives. The day-to-day supervision of the team is provided by the senior project manager.
- Understand and be a partner in tracking M&A activities and finance operations regarding subsidiaries and/or products across industries globally.
- Be accountable for the alignment of multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously across all business functions.
- Support the Founder & Owner in decision making, prioritize task lists and pro-actively take on tasks.
- Track and follow the execution of tasks by the management team and ensure the optimal functioning and reporting of the various departments within the company.
- Monitor and supervise the progress of the operational projects and ensure efficiency and timely completion of tasks.
- Implement and effectively communicate the vision and strategy of the company.
- Manage relations with external partners, internal stakeholders, and the leadership team.
- Document and distribute detailed meeting recaps with actionable next steps.
- Ensure the routing for approval and review of all materials.
- Prepare presentations, concepts, analyses, and communicate effectively with senior management.
- Plays as a team member with other project managers in the Owner’s Office.
- Any additional task required by the Founder & Owner.
- A master’s degree in business, economics, finance, accounting
- A financial professional with full suite of finance skills and experiences in a global (multi-country) context - ideally exposure in M&A, FP&A, FinOps, fund raising, investor relations
- 10+ years professional experience required, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Ideally, you have multi-disciplinary business and strategy experience.
- Work experience abroad is a must
- Willingness to travel depending on the task
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated success of project management and KPI tracking, preferably within a startup environment
- Experience in working with senior leadership team
- Expert knowledge of project management principles and applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual in English and Hungarian with focus on crisp, concise, and effective communication, French is a plus
- Proactive, flexible, pragmatic with a ‘can-do’ mentality
- Ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with multiple parties, internally as well as externally
