Olema Oncology is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of targeted therapies for women’s cancers. Olema’s lead product candidate, palazestrant (OP-1250), is a proprietary, orally-available small molecule with dual activity as both a complete estrogen receptor (ER) antagonist (CERAN) and a selective ER degrader (SERD). It is currently being evaluated both as a single agent in an ongoing Phase 3 clinical trial, and in combination with CDK4/6 inhibitors (palbociclib and ribociclib) and a PI3Ka inhibitor (alpelisib), in patients with recurrent, locally advanced or metastatic ER-positive (ER+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-) breast cancer. Palazestrant has been granted FDA Fast Track designation for the treatment of ER+/HER2- metastatic breast cancer that has progressed following one or more lines of endocrine therapy with at least one line given in combination with a CDK4/6 inhibitor. About the Role >>> Project Manager  

As the Project Manager, reporting to the Senior Program Manager, you will provide project coordination and management support to the CMC and Program Management / Alliance Management team. You will apply best practices in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control and closing of projects. You will interact with cross-functional teams and assist with facilitating information flow between team members, project leaders, and senior management.  

This role is based out of our San Francisco office and may require 10% travel. 

Your work will primarily encompass: 

  • Providing project support to the CMC, Program Management / Alliance Management, and cross functional teams. 
  • Organizing and monitoring development activities, helping to ensure the completion of projects on schedule and within budget.    
  • Organizing and tracking departmental and cross functional activities. 
  • Facilitating communication information flow and building working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Acting as a key contact for meeting planning and execution, ensure the timely distribution of agendas, meeting minutes.  
  • Following up on action items, issues and decisions, risks and mitigations and lessons learned.   
  • Preparing presentations in PowerPoint with project tracking information and status updates.  
  • Providing appropriate metrics to demonstrate project / program progress.  
  • Building summary reports in Smartsheet appropriate for Sr. Leadership.  
  • Ensuring project status and metrics are tracked and reported on time and appropriately.

Knowledge: 

  • Bachelor's degree is required. Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business disciplines preferred. 
  • Advanced proficiency in relevant software: PowerPoint, Outlook Office, SmartSheet, Microsoft Suite. 

Experience: 

  • 5 years of industry project management and/or coordination experience with a bachelor's degree or 3+ years with a master's degree. 
  • Experience working in drug development or CMC preferred. 

Attributes: 

  • Excellent organizational, conflict resolution, and prioritization skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and skills. 
  • Strong project manager skills. 
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership and organizational skills. 
  • Self-starter, ability to navigate face paced environment. 
  • Detailed oriented and a commitment to excellence. 

The base pay range for this position is expected to be $130,000 - $145,000 annually, however the base pay offered may vary depending on location, market, job related knowledge, skills and capabilities, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes equity, bonus, and benefits.
