The Project Manager/Scrum Master will lead and manage both Agile and Waterfall projects, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business objectives. The incumbent will be a servant leader, guiding and coaching Agile teams while also managing traditional projects with a focus on planning, execution, monitoring progress and controlling risks. In addition, the Project Manager/Scrum Master is responsible for supporting project and product teams to deliver business outcomes. The incumbent plans, executes, and delivers projects in accordance with schedule, budget, quality expectations and business priorities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from initiation through execution and project close.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria.
- Identifies and facilitate delivery of work products across multi-disciplinary teams
- Monitor and report progress and takes corrective actions as needed.
- Work with third party vendors to execute on deliverables.
- Works with project teams and stakeholders to mitigate issues and risks.
Scrum Master Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective).
- Guide, coach and mentor Agile teams on Scrum principles and practices.
- Promote self-organization and continuous improvement within the team.
- Establish and monitors metrics for Value, Team, Quality and Flow.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the team and stakeholders.
Project Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Identifies and manage project risks and dependencies.
- Communicate project status and escalate issues to stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation and ensure knowledge transfer.
- Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager and as a Scrum Master, with a strong understanding of Agile principles.
- A minimum of 5 years or equivalent work experience managing IT projects employing waterfall, agile and hybrid execution frameworks with proven delivery of business value and expected outcomes.
- Experience working with project and portfolio management tools (MS Project, Visio, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Project Management certification required e.g. PMI Certification, Scrum.org, Scrum Alliance, Scaled Agile (SAFe).
- Knowledge of full systems development life cycle (SDLC).
- Understanding of software development methodologies (i.e. Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Iterative).
- Ability to work in ambiguous situations with frequent change, or unpredictability.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and team leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and problem-solving abilities.
