Project Manager

Welcome to ETHICS CODE! We are a dynamic software development company that promotes ethical practices within the tech industry. We are currently seeking a skilled and organized Project Manager to join our team and oversee the successful delivery of our projects.

As a Project Manager at ETHICS CODE, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the progress of software development projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Define a comprehensive communication plan to ensure that all relevant project information is communicated to the team and stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
• Oversee resource acquisition and management, ensuring that all necessary resources are available and efficiently utilized throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular project team meetings, including kick-offs, mid-term reviews, and project close-outs, to ensure alignment and continued progress.
• Implement project management tools and techniques, such as agile methodologies, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery.
• Evaluate project team performance and provide ongoing feedback and support to promote professional development and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Proven project management experience, particularly in software development.
• Thorough knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and techniques, including Scrum, Agile and Waterfall.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and resolve issues and conflicts effectively.
• Ability to motivate and lead cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
• Project management certification such as PMP or Prince2 is a plus.

Technologies:

• Microsoft Project: For detailed planning and tracking of project progress.  
• Jira: For agile project management and task tracking.  
• Excel: For budget tracking and reporting.  
• Communication tools: Like Slack or Microsoft Teams, for effective communication with the team and stakeholders.
