We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our distributed cross-functional team. We are focusing on the development of high-performance backend systems providing solutions in the field of financial technology combining expertise in software development and mathematics. You will be leading various types of projects, from software development (products improvement, complex delivery projects) to internal process improvement.
We expect the Project Manager to:
- Play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing out projects,
- Be responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed within the agreed time, scope and agreed budget,
- Plan and designate project resources,
- Prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way,
- Be accountable for the entire project scope, the project team and resources, the project budget, and the success or failure of the project,
- Managing various projects across many products and accounts,
- Gathering requirements, deliverables, and timeframes from stakeholders,
- Agreeing on priorities with clients,
- Planning resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner,
- Planning the budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements,
- Tracking project costs in order to meet budget,
- Producing Status reports for management,
- Communicating frequently with Sponsors and stakeholders: plans, key milestones, etc.,
- Having a plan to mitigate issues that invariably arise,
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.

Must-have skills:
- 4+ years of experience with managing projects in Software Development,
- Willingness to take responsibility and a result-oriented mindset,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences,
- Knowledge of industry software engineering practices, agile methodologies and SDLC,
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work successfully with teams and individuals across the organization and different locations,
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English (Advanced or higher),
- Knowledge of methodologies and principles of application lifecycle management, experience with bug tracking, version control and requirements management systems.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Computer Science or Engineering,
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and quantitative skills, self-directed and high attention to detail,
- Knowledge of capital markets, financial or brokerage businesses,
- Technical skills, software development experience,
- PMP or other relevant professional certifications.
