We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our distributed cross-functional team.
We are focusing on the development of high-performance backend systems, providing solutions in the field of financial technology. You will combine expertise in software development and mathematics. You will be leading various types of projects, from software development (product improvement, complex delivery projects) to internal process improvement.
As a Project Manager in dxFeed, you will play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing out projects. You will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed within the agreed time, scope and budget. You’ll plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. You will be accountable for the entire project scope, the project team and resources, the project budget, and the success or failure of the project.
We expect the Project Manager to:
- manage various projects across many products and accounts
- gather requirements, deliverables, and timeframes from stakeholders
- agreeing on priorities with clients
- plan resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- plan the budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements
- track project costs in order to meet the budget
- Produce status reports for management
- communicate frequently with Sponsors and stakeholders: plans, key milestones, etc.
- have a plan to mitigate issues that invariably arise
- monitor progress and making adjustments as needed

Must-have skills:
- 4+ years of experience with managing projects in Software Development
- willingness to take responsibility and a result-oriented mindset
- excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- knowledge of industry software engineering practices, agile methodologies and SDLC
- strong interpersonal skills, ability to work successfully with teams and individuals across the organization and different locations
- highly proficient in spoken and written English (Advanced or higher)
- knowledge of methodologies and principles of application lifecycle management, experience with bug tracking, version control and requirements’ management systems
Nice-to-have skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Computer Science or Engineering
- strong problem-solving, analytical and quantitative skills, self-directed and high attention to detail
- knowledge of capital markets, financial or brokerage businesses
- technical skills, software development experience
- PMP or another relevant professional certifications
