The challenge:
Manage implementation of multiple projects by an in-house development team and drive delivery of these projects on time, within scope and budget, and with appropriate quality.
Your main responsibilities:
- Managing custom projects in direct communication with the key stakeholders including clients, partners, and international colleagues to meet the project requirements and achieve project goals
- Keeping control of customizations scope, schedule and budget, managing resources, issues, risks and quality
- Managing your development team – defining work priorities and resource planning, delivering the work and reviewing results, measuring and evaluating team KPIs, management of team calendar, absences/leaves and hours-booking
- Developing and leading your team – building a supportive and safe environment for your team-members, promoting team-spirit and learning mindset, facilitating team improvements, running performance reviews and enabling personal development of your direct reports
- Knowing and following (and eventually, contributing to improvement of) role-related processes and mastering relevant tools in order to uphold professionalism and quality of our development services
- Closely collaborating with your peers and your direct manager to contribute to the relevant goals and initiatives of the company and department
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in software project management
- Understanding of software development life-cycle, related project phases, involved roles and their responsibilities
- Knowledge of and experience with predictive and agile project management approaches
- English working proficiency
- Excellent communication skills, negotiation, problem-solving, conflict resolution
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously within existing constraints while maintaining appropriate focus to achieve project objectives
- Leadership, ability to make decisions and unite the team around common goals
- Desire to both learn and grow, as well as to contribute and give back
It's a plus if you have:
- Applicable education and certifications (PMP, Scrum, Kanban, People management, Leadership, etc)
- Previous experience in e-Commerce domain
