As a Project Manager within the BlueCat PMO, you will be accountable for the delivery and ultimate success of implementation projects for our customers. You will help enable project delivery at BlueCat and apply your enthusiasm to succeed, along with mentoring from Managers of PMO, in an ever-growing, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
The Project Manager will lead the consulting Project team, working with our customers to better understand their requirements, and deliver solutions to meet their current and future needs. You will also work closely with internal clients (such as Customer CARE, Sales, Professional Services and Product), ensuring a BlueCat team approach for developing and implementing BlueCat products and solutions.
Summary Of Responsibilities:
-Develop, maintain and strengthen long-term relationships & partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and, when required, help manage third-party service suppliers’ relationships within the established governance framework and contractual obligations.
-Understand the business of our customers, validating business value, requirements, and workflow, to ensure that the solution proposed will meet the need and add value.
-Manage the work effort, scope, resources, cost, and change management of the assigned projects.
-Build and maintain the project plan, project eRAID logs, and project deliverables to ensure success. Re-baseline project plans and ensure key resources validate all changes. Ensure that the project percent complete, budget burndown, and remaining effort (estimate-to-complete) are clear, accurate, and updated regularly.
-Manage resources appropriately throughout the project; ensuring they, their managers, and resource management have ample notice of upcoming tasks and target dates and scheduled changes.
-Keep resource managers and business stakeholders informed and engaged throughout a project, addressing their concerns and managing their expectations appropriately.
-Provide regular and timely communication on project status to the project teams, sponsors and stakeholders, and lead status meetings; keeping executives and multiple stakeholders informed and committed to championing the project.
-Follow appropriate project management methodology and related best practices to ensure successful implementations.
-Manage the tracking and control of the project plan including issue, decision, risk, and change management.
-Work with sponsors and key stakeholders to define and implement project scope, mandate, governance, objectives, timelines, and resourcing.
-Be responsible for producing all required project management documentation such as detailed project plans, work plans, product delivery
-Manage evening or weekend Go-Live events with the project team, moving BlueCat products into production for customers.
What We're Looking For:
- 2-5 years of progressive experience managing network technology implementation projects
- University degree, College diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience within a fast-paced technology company
- Proven track record of completing projects on-time and under-budget through requirements gathering, execution, and implementation leading internal and external teams
