ODL Services a subsidiary of Barbaricum is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager in the Mesa Arizona area supporting training support services for out of area students attending training.

We are seeking a Project Manager (PM) to oversee and execute training support services in Mesa, AZ. The PM will be responsible for scheduling, resourcing, tracking, and delivering training support for out-of-area students. This role requires collaboration with company partners and service providers, as well as attending both in-person and virtual coordination meetings. The PM will work closely with students to ensure all support needs are met efficiently.

Strong communication skills are essential for gathering, organizing, and sharing information with managers and personnel across different locations on recurring timelines to ensure proper tracking and compliance. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, manage their own schedule, and fulfill additional duties as required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the functions to maximize efficiency and profitability as defined by corporate leadership.
  • Develop and execute administrative, managerial, operational and program plans within the scope of their assigned project or task.
  • Develop schedules, resource plans and milestones for project completion.
  • Develop and report achievement of milestones for projects.
  • Develop, implement and execute policies required to maintain customer satisfaction and retention as related to their assigned project or task.
  • Develop and lead work plans, internal staffing, resource allocation and identification of friction points within their area of responsibility.
  • Provide timely and accurate program budgets, financial reports and financial trends to assist corporate leadership.
  • Support recruiting, staffing, training and management that result in a positive work environment to maximize efficient production within their product or service line.
  • Work in concert with other program managers, project managers and task managers, specifically in quality assurance and customer interface to maintain consistency across the organization.
  • Participating in education and training opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance desired.
  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects of similar size and scope.
  • 10+ years of prior US Military experience is highly desired.
  • Skilled in coordinating with external agencies and internal organizational elements, establishing responsibilities, and setting expectations.
  • Experience in controlling and managing project budgets and schedules.
  • Experience in dealing with a wide variety of military service organizations, both US and foreign allied partner nations.
