Position Summary

PMA is currently seeking a Project Management System Administrator for an exclusive assignment for one of our largest and longest-running clients.  In this role, you will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and implementation of the client’s project management information system (PMIS).  The PMIS system is used to monitor, control, and execute a large-scale construction capital program.  In this role, you will be required to manage user access, develop workflows and reports for different record types, provide training to project teams, troubleshoot and correct errors, implement new functionality, and monitor and respond to helpdesk requests.  You will also be required to create new projects, set up user permissions, monitor system records to ensure timely approvals and assist with the creation of project records working in conjunction with the client.  In this role, you will also be responsible for reviewing the existing processes and recommending best practices for improvement.

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum requirement of an Associate Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • 5+ years of related experience is required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of online Project Management Information Systems is required.
  • Experience with SQL and SSIS is preferred.
  • A general understanding of the construction industry and contracting process is required.
  • Previous experience with PMWeb is preferred.
  • Experience with a helpdesk ticketing system is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Work effectively with multiple stakeholders to document requests and implement system improvements.
  • The candidate must be well organized, proactive, and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Requirements
 
Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
 
Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
