Are you ready to put your Project Management skills to the test on one of the most dynamic ranges in the DoD as part of the 96th Test Wing? The 96th Test Wing (96TW), headquartered at Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), is host to a wide range of activities that support all services, multiple Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, Contractors, and Allied Nations. The 96TW, under the command of AFTC, is the T&E center for Air Force air-delivered weapons, navigation and guidance systems, Command and Control systems, and Air Force Special Operations Command systems. The Wing provides expert evaluation and validation of the performance of systems throughout the design, development, acquisition, and sustainment process to ensure the warfighter has technologically superior, reliable, maintainable, sustainable and safe systems. The 96th Test Wing performs DT&E across the complete system life cycle for a wide variety of customers including: Air Force Systems Program Offices, the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), logistics and product centers; major commands; other DoD services and United States (US) Government agencies (Department of Transportation, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), etc.); foreign military sales; and private industry. This Project Management II position is located at Eglin AFB, FL.
Requirements
Essential Functions:
- Prepare briefings, reports and schedule charts for technical and program status reviews and acquisition management functions.
- Prepare inputs to program documents/databases, budgets, and to the Project Management process.
- Conduct research, prepare statistical reports, handle information requests, and perform clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings.
- Provide inputs to and consolidate, review, coordinate and track acquisition documents, assistance services in support of readjustments in program documentation and resource assignments.
- Review contract deliverables such as program milestone schedules and SRs to determine if the events, problems, status, and actions are accurately described in the reports and provide comments to the Government.
- Maintain a data library to include test plan documents, financial spend plans, and program schedules. Maintain a database reflecting status of studies and reports received or due from intra-Government contracts. Notify the Government when delinquencies occur.
- Identify alternatives and plan for implementation of changes in the organization of the office, equipment purchases, and other related matters which would improve the organization or affect economies of operation.
- Ensure operability and availability of acquisition and Project Management enhancement tools, video teleconference capability (VTC), and conferencing and communication enhancement equipment.
- Assist in scheduling meetings for 96 TSSQ.
- Maintain and track suspense dates for events such as meetings, team meetings, IPTs, Test Meetings, etc.’
- Assist in maintaining organization charts
- Maintain and track program funding using JOCAS and Earned Value Cost Accounting System (EVCAS) to ensure effective management of fund expenditures.
- Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and up to 3 years of experience required. Substitution of experience for education considered.
- Experience of Microsoft Office products required.
- Experience with use of Share Point desired.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on OneNote, and web-based services as the primary medium
- Fundamental knowledge of computer hardware and familiarity with equipment and network nomenclature (CAT6/Switch/Rack/etc.)
- Experience with JOCAS, CRISS, FM Suite, WAWF, EDA, ABSS, CCaRs, and/or other Government databases is highly desired.
- Must have an understanding of the specific procedures and processes of the Air Force Test Center and DoD regulations and guidelines.
- Must have ability to quickly understand the customers overall technical objectives and mission and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with customer interaction and presentation capabilities required.
- Must exemplify a dedication to achieving the mission of the 96TW as well as high standards of quality and excellence in performing the duties.
- Must be able to work effectively alone, unsupervised, or within a group.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
- Must be willing to travel up to 5%.

Security Clearance:
- Must hold an active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance.
