The Project Management Assistant I (PMA I) supports the Project Management staff in servicing clients to meet the Client Service Organization mission. The PMA will work onsite at the University Park lab. Having a good understanding of lab work and customer service experience is ideal.
Project Management Assistant I responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Project set-up:
o Creates bottle orders
o Schedules courier or field sampler, if needed
o Confirms non-Eurofins subcontract labs are on the approved list and set up as vendors for existing work
o Generates JDE requisition when sending subcontract samples
Sample Receipt:
o Reviews log-in
o Generates subcontract paperwork
o Sends client sample receipt confirmation
o Reviews draft invoice
o Confirms that any client needed information (purchase order, project number, etc.) is recorded in LIMS for invoicing
Reporting:
o Creates and issues final report by client due date
o Issues final data package
o State reporting forms and submission
o DMR Forms
o EDD checkers
o Data upload
o Compiles case narrative
Invoicing:
o Reviews final invoice before issuing to client
o Generates credit/debit memos as needed
o Submits credit/debit memos for approval
o Submits approved credit/debit memos to client, if needed
o Submits revised invoices
The ideal candidate would possess:

Associates degree from an accredited university; four years client-relationship/client service experience may substitute for degree
1-3 years business experience required
Bench chemist experience is a plus
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of University Park, IL are encouraged to apply. This is an onsite position.
Pay range: $17-19/hr
