Project Lead Circular Technology
(Nijmegen, Full-time)



As a Project Lead at Duynie, you will be responsible for delivering innovative production processes at our suppliers' factories and our own locations. You will work closely with various stakeholders such as engineers, suppliers, and HSE coordinators. You will be involved in all phases of the project, from feasibility studies to final delivery and handover. Your technical expertise will enable you to understand complex problems and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Budget management: carefully managing and monitoring the project budget;
  • Planning: creating and monitoring detailed project plans;
  • Guiding the engineering process: actively participating in the engineering process and instructing third parties;
  • Organizing all related documentation such as CE, HAZOP, manuals, etc.;
  • Setting up and implementing maintenance programs;
  • Informing stakeholders: discussing progress;
  • Reviewing supplier contracts and ensuring compliance


Education and experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (food, chemical, mechanical);
  • Minimum 5 year work experience in technical projects;
  • Experience in managing stakeholders at different levels;
  • Likes a healthy challenge and has a can-do attitude;
  • Actively drives technical and organisational improvements next to delivering his/her projects;
  • You are eligible to work in the Netherlands and in the EU.


The ideal candidate:

  • Has successfully managed complex technical (capex) projects; operational experience in an industrial environment is a plus;
  • Has experience with process safety as well as food safety;
  • Has excellent communication skills and feels comfortable operating in multiple countries and cultures; Dutch and one more language next to English is a plus;
  • Like’s a healthy challenge and has a can-do attitude;
  • Actively drives technical and organisational improvements next to delivering his/her projects.


What do we offer?

  • A salary between €4,200 and €6,150 gross per month based on a 40-hour workweek (classification based on relevant work experience);
  • 8% holiday pay;
  • 30 vacation days based on a 40-hour workweek;
  • A phone allowance of €15 net per month (BYO-device). Your subscription is paid for;
  • Profit-sharing scheme;
  • €23,75 gross per month contribution to health insurance costs;
  • Travel allowance for a minimum of 10 km one way;
  • Flexible office hours and the possibility to work partially from home after the induction period (€2.35 net allowance per remote working day);
  • A good pension scheme with the PGB;
