Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a Project Engineer for the Engineering department in our Pallini premises.

As a Project Engineer, the ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering projects.

Requirements

What you will do:

  • Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans, collaborating with management and all involved departments
  • Determine project responsibilities in cooperation with involved departments by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel and reviewing contractor bids
  • Coordinate all activities and external contractors involved with a project
  • Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving potential issues proactively
  • Monitor the implementation and documentation of facility and utilities maintenance
  • Keep track of spare parts needed for the facility and utility maintenance
  • Keep track of budget and time schedules of projects
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain a safe, clean working environment by enforcing procedures and guidelines
  • Maintain accurate project records by updating and managing the project database

The ideal candidate should have:

  • BSc in Engineering or a related field
  • 1-3 years of previous experience within a pharmaceutical environment
