Job Purpose:
The Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing project execution activities, and ensuring project objectives
related to scope, schedule, budget, and quality are achieved. This role requires effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders, timely resolution of project challenges, and adherence to contractual
commitments to drive successful project completion.
Requirements
Understand and ensure clarity of the scope, budget, and specifications of all orders placed into
production, as defined by the Purchase Order or Contract.
Execute and manage projects to ensure timely completion within defined scope, budget, and quality
parameters.
Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, schedules, quality
and progress reports.
Continuously monitor project milestones and address any deviations proactively.
Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
Resolve technical and operational issues encountered during project execution.
Maintain strict control of all communication and documentation both to and from the customer
Oversee project workflows and align schedules with production and supply chain teams to meet
delivery targets.
Facilitate effective collaboration among cross-functional teams, including production, quality
assurance, and procurement, to ensure seamless execution.
Prepare and distribute project documentation, including Kickoff or Handover Meeting reports, and
lead periodic project review meetings.
Analyze project performance metrics and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency.
Assist in procurement processes by coordinating material requirements, liaising with suppliers, and
ensuring timely availability of project resources.
Monitor supplier performance and support procurement strategy development in alignment with
project needs.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates on project progress,
potential risks, and mitigation plans.
Address customer inquiries and concerns, fostering strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction
Coordinate site visits to evaluate project requirements and ensure alignment with customer
expectations.
Maintain strict control over changes to scope, delivery timeline, or cost, in coordination with the
Projects Manager and the Sales Department as required
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
6-8 years of relevant experience in project execution within the equipment/machinery
manufacturing or fabrication industry.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Strong technical and commercial acumen.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environmen
