As a Project Lead your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Support Engineering Estimates and Software Development Plans
- Oversee engineering project team and subcontractor deliverables and ensure project is within budget, schedule and quality standards
- Work with other departments such as Program Management, Certification, Safety & Reliability, Quality and Manufacturing
- Maintain the engineering work standards and processes
- Evaluation of technical risk, mitigation and contingency
- Produce and present monthly status reports for management review
- Support continuous product improvement and innovation
- Must thrive working under pressure and solving challenging problems
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering or Computer Science;
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing Agile software development teams or project management in the field of avionics or military products;
- Experience in software development and design in the field of avionics or military products using development process and designing to quality standards (such as DO-178C, MIL- STD-810 or MIL-STD-461);
- Demonstrated success in the execution and leadership of complex projects requiring cost and schedule performance management and risk management;
- Demonstrated understanding of requirements management for the development of software systems;
- Knowledge of Primavera or similar project planning tool;
- Strong understanding of data analysis tools and techniques. This includes the ability to collect, clean, and analyze data to convey meaningful patterns and trends for executive presentation;
- French/English bilingualism.
