Pixelogic Media provides technology solutions to the entertainment industry. Our clients include major Hollywood studios and dozens of independent studios. To date, we’ve delivered thousands of titles to iTunes, Google, Netflix, Amazon, and others. We’ve created a large percentage of iTunes Extras titles available on the App Store, developed the specification of and delivered the first Cross-Platform Extras titles, authored more than eight-thousand DVDs, two-thousand Blu-rays, as well as award-winning tablet and mobile apps.

To support our continued expansion, we seek a production coordinator to help us manage projects to global distributors (e.g. Netflix, Disney, Amazon, etc.). With the expansion of global audiences, the quality of media assets is one of the primary needs of our clients. This position will be key in helping us to build next generation localization workflows to offer premium content localization services.
In addition to being quality and detail oriented, the ideal candidate will be a language enthusiast with a passion for globalizing entertainment content with an appreciation for the importance of regional and cultural differences.
Primary Responsibilities
⦁ Assist the project management team with administrative tasks
⦁ Assist the project management and English teams with scheduling
⦁ Assist production operators with administrative tasks
⦁ Create and manage subtitle and audio dubbing projects as assigned
⦁ Track status of ongoing projects, auditing between systems
⦁ Assign work to translators and linguists globally
⦁ Document processes to assist in training production staff
⦁ Update workflows and checklists according to client specifications as needed
⦁ Work with the billing team to ensure projects are billed correctly and on time
⦁ Other related tasks as assigned to fulfill responsibilities
Requirements
Qualifications
⦁ Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Linguistics and language study majors and/or Entertainment and Media
⦁ Ability to speak, read, and understand English
⦁ Experience in localization, access services, media industry and post-production workflows
⦁ Passionate about language, customer experience and customer service excellence
⦁ Strong PC and administrative skills
⦁ Excellent communication skills
⦁ Deep sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
⦁ Problem solver with creative and innovative approach with ability to think out of the box
⦁ Outstanding attention to detail and ability to plan complex projects with urgency
⦁ A positive attitude when experiencing obstacles and enthusiastic to get things done
