Project Coordinator for Community Based Tourism support in South East Asia

Project Coordinator for Community Based Tourism support in South East Asia (preferably Northern Thailand)

We want to show that tourism, done in a “right way”, means focusing on impact and meaningful experiences that offer communities new possibilities of self-realization and additional income to the existing income. Tourism will make a positive impact in the supported communities. To achieve this, we support developing tourism besides the existing income streams and point out, that the traditional ways of making money should be appreciated and continued. Sustainable tourism should always be seen as an add-on and should never replace the traditional ways of making money for the community.

As our Community Based Tourism Coordinator for South East Asia, you will face an inspiring challenge to create relationships with local communities in the region, preferably starting in the Chiang Mai Region of Northern Thailand. You support them to develop their tourism project and bring it to the next level, to enhance its positive impact on the well-being of residents.

Your focus will be working closely with the local organizations, whereas you will receive assistance and report to our core V Social team.
