We are looking for a Project Controls - Estimator to join our growing Utilities team! In this job, you will assist with the development and maintenance of detailed cost estimates, including scope take-off, estimate labor, materials, contract, indirect, and allowances, and maintain (and reconcile) various versions of cost estimates
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists with the development and maintenance of detailed cost estimates, including scope take-off, estimate labor, materials, contract, indirect, and allowances, and maintain (and reconcile) various versions of cost estimates
- Performs research, updates, and data gathering/analysis in areas of cost estimating (e.g. unit pricing, market trends, economic feasibility study)
- Collaborates with and obtains data/information from various project stakeholders; develops and maintains strong working relationships with team
- Working with ~ 12 projects (eventually)
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: A combination of education, training, and experience, generally equivalent to those typically possessed by a 4-year college graduate
- Preferred: Engineering background or Mathematical background
- Required: Possess one or more years’ estimating experience
- Required: Demonstrated intermediate ability or knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Preferred: Utility estimation experience
- Preferred: Ineight experience
