Project Administrator/Coordinator

Interview process: Interviews will commence with a Teams interview followed by a face to face interview at our site in Burton Latimer

Working pattern: Hybrid but you will need to flexible depending on team tasks and resources. Weetabix Wednesday is a non-negotiable where we all come into the office for business partnering and meetings.

The recipe!

The purpose of this position is to offer administrative assistance to the PMO Manager and PMO Team, as well as to oversee project phases and execute small projects and agile initiatives.

  • Coordinate and provide valuable assistance across the Portfolio, ensuring a seamless flow for various projects and programmes
  • Assist in the governance, management, and reporting of the IT Portfolio, including crafting insightful Executive Reports
  • Manage and track Portfolio resources effectively, overseeing timesheet administration and related tasks
  • Support the IT Month-End Finance processes and ensure accurate postings
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Evaluate current working practices and explore innovative approaches or best practices to enhance efficiency
  • Take ownership of delivering project milestones, whether for small agile initiatives or segments of larger projects

Requirements

Non-negotiables

  • Well-organised and driven, demonstrating a tenacious approach
  • Experience in budget management along with relevant administrative responsibilities
  • Strong communication and persuasion abilities
  • Eager to pursue Professional Development opportunities in Project Management (e.g., Prince2, etc.)
  • Skilled at handling a high volume of work across various tasks with a focus on delivery        
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
  • Alignment to Weetabix values
  • Are always curious to finding new ways to do business!
  • Have the ability to demonstrate how you keep up to date in your field of expertise

Nice to haves

  • Having project qualifications is a plus, though not mandatory
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in an IT project or program environment
  • Experience in Manufacturing/FMCG
