In this pivotal position, you will lead efforts to ensure seamless operational and cultural integration across the organization following a merger or acquisition. As a key partner to the PMI Programme team, you will drive alignment and consistency in processes, policies, and team dynamics, contributing directly to the success of the post-merger transition. This is a fixed-term contract for six months, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact during a critical period of organizational change.

We are seeking a candidate with hands-on experience in post-merger acquisition integration activities, focusing on operational and cultural synergies. This is not an IT Programme Manager role but rather one requiring expertise in managing complex cross-functional transitions in areas such as organizational design, governance, stakeholder engagement, and culture harmonization.

What you'll get to do -

Here’s how you’ll get to make that happen:

  • As the PMI programme manager plan and implement post-merger integration strategies, including facilitating workshops to align both companies’ cultures, systems, and operations.
  • Own the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex integration projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and scope.
  • Interact with stakeholders at various levels, including senior executives and workstream leads, to provide updates, address concerns, and align project goals with PMI objectives
  • Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle, proactively addressing them and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery
  • Utilize project management tools/methodologies for tracking project tasks, documenting business requirements, decisions, risks and managing project documentation
  • Provide regular status reports to senior stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, budget updates, and any critical issues requiring attention
  • Tailor communication methods and cadence to the audience's level of seniority and interest, employing a combination of email updates, virtual meetings, and executive communications

What you will bring -

We’re seeking a proven leader with extensive experience in program and project management, ideally in post-merger integrations. You’ll have a strong track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects across diverse time zones and cultures.
