Aspire Living & Learning is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Director of Program Support. Serving as a member of the Senior Management Team, the Director of Program Supports is responsible for the oversight of various quality assurance measures, supporting leadership regarding quality initiatives and compliance.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually
Key Responsibilities:
The Director of Program Support is a leadership role supporting quality initiatives and overall support of adult services and home care/shared living programs. Below outlines key aspects of the roles and responsibilities this position will hold:
Programmatic Support and Oversight:
- Oversees the licensing and certification process including the application, preparation, site visit, and needed follow up
- Manages and provides support of the state identified program(s) ensuring systems’ compliance
- Ensures adherence to organization-wide policies procedures as well as state and federal regulations, meeting licensing and certification standards
- Provides oversight of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) initiatives, executing identified goals
- Trains employees to licensing and certification standards as well as QA and QE expectations
- Collect, compile and analyze trends across programs for overall agency reporting
- Perform any additional job responsibilities assigned by supervisors or team leaders to support the organization's smooth operation.
Leadership:
- Lead by example by supporting and implementing companywide initiatives, priorities and policies
- Foster a positive work environment while supporting a culture of teamwork, collaboration and communication
- Provide ongoing developmental supervision encouraging professional growth and ensuring employees are meeting programmatic requirements
- Provide direction and planned teaching to agency standards on matters regarding the effective, timely and consistent implementation of all policies and procedures
- Conduct training as required and assigned.
Communication and Relational Coordination:
- Cultivate a positive and productive workplace atmosphere to enhance team morale and productivity.
- Participate in and complete training sessions as delegated by management to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
- Communicate effectively with all internal and external parties, including Aspire employees, contracted providers, and local and state governmental oversight agencies
- Works collaboratively with members of the Senior Management Team as well as leadership from external agencies
- Acts as a liaison between Aspire and contracted agencies
- Work collaboratively with QE and QA leaders, actively engaging in companywide meetings
- Accept reassignment as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
- Minimum of 5 years management experience overseeing group homes, shared living and/or day programs in an environment that provides services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- One year of experience with certification and/or quality assurance preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office/365, Electronic Health Record, and other agency platforms
- Excellence in the creation, development and implementation of systems
- Ability to travel frequently for work using personal vehicle
- Must have satisfactory background checks
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Working Conditions:
- Primary work is done within an office setting; however it is expected that the employee will visit program operations as required to fulfill their job duties.
- Some infrequent day and/or overnight travel possible.
- Some holiday work required to meet on call schedule as needed.
- Lift/carry up to 10 pounds; speaking; standing; sitting for long periods of time; reaching; bending; walking; reaching with arms and hands, balancing; using fingers to handle or feel. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
- This position requires the routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, fax machines, audio/visual equipment, etc.
