What We Need

We are seeking a Program Manager, Insights, to join the Core Games Player Insights team. Your role will be pivotal in harnessing data to elevate player experiences across our iconic franchises, including Sid Meier's Civilization, Borderlands, Bioshock, and others. By championing proven methods in project management and operational excellence, you will optimize the productivity of our Data Scientists and Analysts, ensuring that their insights effectively influence both game development and strategic business decisions. Your leadership in leading various workstreams will be crucial for integrating creative vision with analytical precision. Reporting directly to the Director of Data Science for Core Games, you will play a key role in our ongoing mission to transform game-making through data-driven innovation.

What You Will Do

  • Be responsible for and ensure the smooth progression of projects on the insights roadmap from concept to completion, aligning with strategic business objective
  • Cultivate alignment and collaboration with leadership, essential teams (e.g., Data Scientists, Researchers, Marketers, and Game Developers), and partners through effective and timely communication
  • Facilitate efficient communication and collaboration using both synchronous and asynchronous methods to enhance project workflows
  • Coordinate allocation of resources and prioritize tasks across teams to ensure efficient project timelines and achievement of key results
  • Quickly adapt to changing project needs and priorities, adjusting plans and schedules to meet emergent demands

What will make you a great fit

  • 4+ years of demonstrated ability in program or project management within analytics, software development, or a related technical field, ideally in the games industry
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in tools such as Confluence, Jira, Asana, and Miro
  • Prioritizes fostering a sustainable work environment, focusing on the well-being of the team through balanced work practices that support long-term analysis and prevent burnout
  • Experienced in applying Agile and Kanban methodologies to boost team productivity
  • Strong communication skills that will help distill complex topics into clear takeaways
  • Understanding telemetry and data-driven decision-making in the gaming industry is a plus
