Role Description:

Fortanix CS Program Managers, like our platform, enable customers to protect data wherever it lives. CS Program Managers actively participate in sustaining a high standard of excellence focused on time to value. As a CS Program Manager at Fortanix, you will lead complex data security engagements using your professional services expertise. You will be primarily focused on initiating, planning, scheduling, forecasting and providing oversight to the work of assigned professional services (PS) team members. This includes being a liaison between the customer and all other project stakeholders. You act as a leader for the project as you influence the best performance of the project team.  

As a CS Program Manager, you are critical to the overall management of projects delivered by the CS team. You will be collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams both internally and externally with Fortanix customers, while demonstrating a strong commitment to assigned project goals.  

Your success in this role requires strong leadership for leading the delivery of projects in accordance to strict project deadlines, within budget, and demonstrated value of services. You have a strong technical project management background with very strong communication and coordination skills.  

Requirements

You will:  

 

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives 
  • Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives 
  • Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives 
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders 
  • Work with other managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the Customer Success department 
  • Provide hands-on project management during planning, design, configuration, testing, and post-implementation phases with large enterprise customers  
  • Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.  
  • Lead projects end-to-end including: developing project plans, resource plan, scope, tracks dependencies and risks and develop mitigation plans. Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks, deliver on time against agreed-upon metrics.  
  • Manage multiple projects effectively. Interact and guide technical team members across the globe to accomplish project goals  
  • Proactively engage and communicate with customers throughout the implementation lifecycle  
  • Demonstrate resilience, tact, influence and problem-solving in a variety of complex situations   
  • Administer formal change control in accordance to any changes in scope, time or cost   
  • Identify customer opportunities to position the sale of other desired services   
  • Manage internal projects in support of the global CS organization  

  

  

You are someone who:  

 

  • Hands-on 8+ years project management experience and 3+ Program Management experience. 
  • Experience working on tools like Netsuite, Jira etc. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all Stakeholders. 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, detail-oriented and takes initiative to tackle challenges.  
  • Outstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
